The Suprevisory Board of the National Broadcasting Company is going to announce a new tender for filling the vacancies of Director of Teleradio-Moldova (TRM) and Director of Radio Moldova. During the meetings on April 23 and 24, the Supervisory Board failed to elect either the Director of Teleradio-Moldova or the Director of the National Radio Station.

Stefan Secareanu, Alexandru Grosu and Ion Bujor contended for the position of TRM Director. The fourth candidate, Nicu Scorpan, announced during his speech that he had decided to quit the race. Subsequently, one of the Supervisory Board's members commented on the company's webpage www.trm.md that "a realistic, an optimistic, an rather pessimistic and a phantasmal project have been presented". Thus, after two rounds, no candidate garnered the required number of votes. Stefan Secareanu was one vote short, Alexandru Grosu - two votes short. Ion Bujor did not get any votes.

The meeting on April 24 had the same outcome. The Supervisory Board failed to select from the four candidates a Director for the National Radio Station; the four candidates were: Stefan Secareanu, Nicu Scorpan, Eduard Maceac and Veaceslav Gheorghisenco.

According to the Secretary of the Supervisory Board, they shall announce a new tender to fill the two vacancies in early May. Further details will follow.
