The BCC warned four TV channels for failing to respect the child's right when they broadcast an interview with the father of the alleged victim the identity of whom they revealed. On the other hand, journalists believe that they acted correctly and defended the minor's best interest. How can such a different perception be explained and why did the BCC see this material in black while the journalists saw it in white?
This issue is discussed during the ‘Media Azi’ TV show by the Executive Director of the Independent Journalism Center, Nadine Gogu, and the investigative journalist Natalia Porubin.
Find out what does the guest of the show think about this case, and how should we reflect the issues about children in vulnerable situations in the media so as not to affect their lives?
