Decisions Taken in Chisinau Echo in Comrat: Several Members of the SB of GRT Were Dismissed, and the Board Became Inoperative

According to Gagauzinfo.md, on 30 July People’s Assembly of Gagauzia (PAG) dismissed three of nine members of the Supervisory Board (SB) of Comrat Public TV and Radio Company (GRT). Thus, the Board became literally inoperative, this being also confirmed by the MPs’ majority vote. Bashkan Irina Vlah welcomed the MPs’ decision and urged them to organise a new contest to select SB members on professional, not political criteria.

The Press Council (PC) sent a new call to the Broadcasting Council (BC) on 30 July, asking to once again analyse the content of ‘Vorbeste Moldova – Parinte te Iubesc’ show of 15 and 16 April 2019, broadcast by Prime TV, about an adolescent girl sexually abused by her stepfather.

Deciziile de la Chișinău fac ecou la Comrat: Mai mulți membri ai CS al GRT au fost demiși, iar Consiliul a devenit nefuncțional

Adunarea Populară (AP) din Găgăuzia a demis, pe 30 iulie, cinci din cei nouă membri ai Consiliului de Supraveghere (CS) al Companiei publice de televiziune și radio GRT, scrie Gagauzinfo.md. Astfel, Consiliul a devenit, practic, nefuncțional, acest lucru fiind constatat și prin votul majoritar al deputaților.

CA s-a autosesizat la solicitarea CJI de a monitoriza și a sancționa posturile tv care difuzează informații manipulatoare

Consiliul Audiovizualului (CA) a sancționat, în cadrul ședinței publice din 29 iulie, cu amendă de 5.000 de lei postul public de televiziune Moldova1 și de câte 10.000 de lei posturile de televiziune NTV Moldova, Prime, Publika TV, Canal 2, Canal 3, Orhei TV și Televiziunea Centrală. Totodată, membrii CA au avertizat public posturile Pro TV Chișinău și TV8.

СТР отреагировал на требование ЦНЖ провести мониторинг и наказать каналы, распространяющие манипулятивную информацию

В ходе публичного заседания от 29 июля Совет по телевидению и радио (СТР) наложил штрафы в размере 5 000 леев на общественный телеканал «Moldova 1» и в размере 10 000 леев на телеканалы «NTV Moldova», «Prime», «Publika TV», «Canal 2», «Canal 3», «Orhei TV» и «Центральное телевидение». Кроме того, члены СТР вынесли публичное предупреждение каналам «Pro TV Chisinau» и «TV8».

BC Took Note of IJC’s Request to Monitor and Sanction TV Channels that Broadcast Manipulative Information

During the public meeting of 29 July, the Broadcasting Council (BC) fined Moldova 1 public TV station with MDL 5.000 and NTV Moldova, Prime, Publika TV, Canal 2, Canal 3, Orhei TV and Central Television with MDL 10.000 each. At the same time, BC members publicly warned Pro TV Chisinau and TV8. Fines were applied after the Independent Journalism Center | (IJC) asked BC to monitor TV channels that broadcast manipulative information and impose sanctions if violations of legislation are found.

Совет по телевидению и радио проголосовал за предложение об отстранении всех членов Наблюдательного совета «Teleradio-Moldova»

В ходе публичного заседания от 29 июля члены Совета по телевидению и радио (СТР) отдали пять голосов за и один против предложения об отстранении членов Наблюдательного совета (НС) ОНТРО «Teleradio-Moldova» в полном составе. Решение было принято по результатам рассмотрения обращения члена НС, а также полученного СТР запроса от Парламентской комиссии по СМИ с требованием провести проверку деятельности НС и высказать свое мнение в отношении найденных нарушений. Член СТР Ольга Гуцуцуй заявила, что не будет участвовать в голосовании по данному вопросу.
