Young People’s Conclusion about Sources of Information: “All That Glitters Is Not Gold”

An informed person is a strong person – this was the leitmotif of the two media literacy lessons organized by the Independent Journalism Center (IJC) on April 4 in the villages of Todiresti and Mereni in Anenii Noi district. These activities were attended by over 50 young people and were moderated by journalist and head of the Press Council Viorica Zaharia.

Young people were informed how to differentiate true news from false news, how to resist information manipulation via television, and also how to protect themselves from Russian propaganda.

Вывод молодежи об источниках информации: «Не все то золото, что блестит»

Информированный человек - сильный человек. Таким был лейтмотив двух уроков медиаграмотности, организованных Центром независимой журналистики (ЦНЖ) 4 апреля в селах Тодирешть и Мерень Новоаненского района. Мероприятия, в которых приняло участие более 50 молодых людей, провела журналистка и председатель Совета прессы Виорика Захария.

Молодые люди были проинформированы о том, как отличить ложные новости от истинных, как уберечься от информационного манипулирования телеканалов, и как защититься от российской пропаганды.

Moldova în regres față de anul trecut, potrivit studiului Freedom House „Națiunile în Tranziție”

R. Moldova a obținut un scor general acumulat de 4.93 în Raportul Freedom House „Națiunile în tranziție”, pentru anul 2017, care a fost dat publicității miercuri, 5 aprilie 2017. Astfel, țara noastră a acumulat un punctaj mai mic față de rezultatul din anul precedent (4.89),  cedând în fața Ucrainei și Georgiei, care au un scor de câte 4.61 puncte, dar depășind alte state ex-sovietice, cum ar fi Rusia (6.67 puncte, Belarus (6.61 puncte), Armenia (5.39 puncte).

Centrul pentru Jurnalism Independent (CJI), în parteneriat cu Fondul ONU pentru Populație (UNFPA Moldova), vă invită la ședința Clubului de presă cu tema: „Inițiativa „Ea decide”: cum asigurăm drepturile sexuale și reproductive ale femeilor în Moldova?”

În cadrul evenimentului vor fi abordate subiecte precum: sănătatea și drepturile sexuale și reproductive ale femeilor în Moldova, accesul la servicii de sănătate reproductivă și planificare a familiei de calitate, necesitatea programelor de educație sexuală pentru copii și tineri etc..

Moldova in Regress from Last Year, according to Freedom House “Nations in Transit” Report

Moldova has obtained an overall score of 4.93 in the Freedom House “Nations in Transit” report for the year 2017, which was published on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. Thus, our country accumulated a lesser score than in the previous year (4.89), falling behind Ukraine and Georgia, which have a rating of 4.61 points each, but beating other ex-Soviet countries, such as Russia (6.67 points), Belarus (6.61 points), and Armenia (5.39 points).

Молдова набрала общий балл 4,93 в докладе «Страны переходного периода» организации Freedom House за 2017 год, который был опубликован в среду, 5 апреля 2017 года. Таким образом, наша страна набрала меньше баллов, чем в предыдущем году (4,89), уступив место Украине и Грузии, набравшим по 4,61 балла, но заняв более высокое место, чем другие бывшие советские страны, такие как Россия (6,67 баллов), Беларусь (6,61 баллов), Армения (5,39 баллов).
