The Recommendations of the Beneficiaries of the Media Education Project: „The Journalists Have to be Fair, Professional and to Respect the Deontology”

The Independent Journalism Centre invited the beneficiaries of the project "Promotion of media education and professional standards in press for an informed public" to a meeting of evaluation of the project results, implemented by IJC in the period of March -August 2016. The pupils and teachers, who attended lessons of media education, participated at the event, as well as the journalists present at the training "Ethical rules and topical journalistic practices". The meeting was moderated by the media expert Viorica Zaharia, also involved in the project.

Independent Journalism Center (IJC) participates in the European Voluntary Service (EVS), part of the Erasmus+ programme. The European Union's Erasmus+ programme is a funding scheme that supports activities in the fields of Education, Training, Youth and Sport for the period of 2014-2020.  Merging seven prior programmes Lifelong Learning, Youth in Action, Erasmus Mundus, Tempus, Alfa, Edulink and the programme for cooperation with industrialised countries. it has opportunities for a wide variety of individuals and organisations.

Jurnaliști de investigație: Excluderea presei dintre sursele de informare ale ANI este un „pas greșit” și „un semnal alarmant de degradare a democrației”

La 1 august a intrat în vigoare pachetul de legi cu privire la reformarea Comisiei Naţionale de Integritate (CNI), care urmează să fie reorganizată în Autoritatea Națională de Integritate (ANI). Deși scopul declarat al acestor transformări este eficientizarea activității noii structuri, legea care va reglementa ANI a exclus o prevedere importantă din vechea lege, care obliga CNI să se autosesizeze la semnalele apărute în mass-media.

В понедельник, 1 августа, вступил в силу пакет законов о реформировании Национальной антикоррупционной комиссии (НАК), которая будет реорганизована в Национальный антикоррупционный центр (НАЦ). Хотя эта реорганизация призвана повысить эффективность новой структуры, закон регулирующий деятельность НАЦ исключил важное положение из прежнего закона, обязывающее НАК реагировать на информацию, опубликованную в СМИ.

Investigative Journalists: The Exclusion of the Press from the Sources of Information of NAI Is a "Misstep" and "an Alarming Trend of Degradation of Democracy"

On 1 August the package of laws with reference to the reformation of the National Committee of Integration (NCI) entered into force which is to be reorganized in the National Authority of Integration (NAI). Although the stated purpose of these transformations is to streamline the activity of the new structure, the law which will control the NAI   excluded an important stipulation from the old law which obliged the NCI to take action at the signals from media.
