The portal characterized a young man with a mental disorder who committed suicide in prison as a “madman.” According to the Journalist’s Code of Ethics, “journalists must clearly distinguish between facts and opinions and not present their own opinions as facts.” Also, according to the Guidelines of Style with Ethical Standards, media outlets must respect the right of the deceased to dignity.
