Jurnalistul britanic de origine română Andrei (cunoscut drept Andrew) Postelnicu a fost dat dispărut vineri, 7 februarie, în urma unui accident aviatic produs în statul american Florida, informează Mediafax. Avionul de mici dimensiuni pilotat de jurnalist s-ar fi prăbușit în ocean și este în continuare căutat de Garda de Coastă.
Centrul pentru Jurnalism Independent (CJI), organizaţie neguvernamentală care sprijină jurnaliştii şi organizaţiile mass-media din Republica Moldova, angajează șef al Departamentului Campanii și Productie.

Comisia Atlantică Slovacă, în colaborare cu Institutul pentru Politici Central-Europene şi Centrul pentru Jurnalism Independent, vă invită la evenimentul de prezentare a rezultatelor sondajului privind percepţiile moldovenilor despre UE/integrare europeană şi Uniunea Vamală Euroasiatică, ce va avea loc în 12 februarie 2014.
Postul de televiziune RTR Moldova a fost sancționat cu amendă maximă de 5.400 de lei de către Consiliul Coordonator al Audiovizualului (CCA) pentru nerespectarea ”concepției generale a serviciului de programe”, dar și pentru că nu a subtitrat filmele artistice în limba de stat. Reprezentanții postului fuseseră avertizați și anterior tot pentru astfel de încălcări. O amendă minima, de 1.800 de lei, a fost aplicată de CCA postului de televiziune REN Moldova, tot pentru nerespectarea ”concepției generale a serviciului de programe”.
The Broadcasting Coordinating Council (BCC) has penalized the RTR Moldova television with the maximum fine of MDL 5,400 for failure to comply with the “general concept of broadcasting services” and for failure to subtitle films into the official state language. The channel’s representatives had already been warned for such violations earlier. The BCC has also applied a minimum fine of MDL 1,800 to the REN Moldova television, also for failure to comply with the “general concept of broadcasting services.”
Координационный совет по телевидению и радио (КСТР) назначил телеканалу «РТР Молдова» максимальный штраф, 5 400 леев, за несоблюдение «общей концепции вещания» и за то, что телеканал не обеспечил наличие субтитров на государственном языке к транслируемым фильмам. Представители телеканала и раньше получали предупреждения за подобные нарушения. КСТР назначил минимальный штраф, 1 800 леев, телеканалу «РЕН Молдова», также за несоблюдение «общей концепции вещания».
The Licensing Chamber (with 16 datasets), the State Tax Service (with 14 datasets), and the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure (with 12 datasets) hold the first three positions in the top of public institutions with the greatest number of open data on the portal www.date.gov.md[1], according to a report of the Independent Journalism Center (IJC), produced as part of the project Open Government for an Informed and Active Society.
Mass-media in UTA Gagauz-Yeri and the Transnistrian region indicate the scant interest in the topic of socially vulnerable groups and minorities – this is one of the main conclusions of the monitoring report issued by the Independent Journalism Center (IJC).
