Координационный совет по телевидению и радио (КСТР), на заседании от 28 мая, наложил штраф в размере 5000 MDL на радиостанцию Retro FM за трансляцию в новостном бюллетене утверждений политолога Оазу Нантоя, изложенных в неприличных выражениях. Санкция была применена единогласным решением, по результатам мониторингового отчета о работе канала. Ранее, КСТР получил письмо от некоего гражданина, который затребовал вмешательства Совета в данную ситуацию.
On 28 May, the Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) imposed a fine of MDL 5,000 on Retro FM radio station for broadcasting statements of the political analyst, Oazu Nantoi, using indecent language within a news bulletin. The sanction was imposed by unanimous vote following the examination of the channel monitoring report. Previously, BCC received a letter from a citizen who requested the Council’s revision on this case.
Maria Cudlenco, one of the 16 Novateca librarians involved in MEDIA-M project, organized in May the first media literacy training session, with translation in sign language, for the children and young people of the boarding school for children with hearing loss in Cahul.
Coming along with a special traslator, she explained what is trustworthy information and what is manipulation, how to distinguish between the two and how to be more secure on the internet.
