The training is open to journalists and publishers interested to find out:

how to highlight the value of information by using data viewing tools;

how to give more expression to journalistic materials;

how to keep readers' attention.

The document is an analysis of the situation of mass-media across the country for 2017 and includes: a description of the methodology; chronology of the main events from the reference period that have a direct or indirect impact on the mass-media situation; expert opinions and assessments.

Young People from the Republic of Moldova May Participate in the National Geographic Photo Camp

Internews in Moldova invites active young people from the entire country to apply to the Photo Camp organised in partnership with the National Geographic Society. Photo Camp is a photo training and a media-education-through-photos program that gives the opportunity to try various techniques of creating visual stories, developing in this way a critical spirit of analysis enabling the participants to transpose events/happenings into quality pictures.

Consiliul Coordonat al Audiovizualului (CCA) a amendat, în cadrul ședinței publice din 26 februarie, cu 50.000 de lei postul de televiziune RTR Moldova pentru încălcarea prevederilor privind difuzarea emisiunilor informative din Federația Rusă. Reprezentanții RTR Moldova nu sunt de acord cu decizia CCA și susțin că știrile respective au fost montate la Chișinău, utilizând materialul oferit prin contract de posturile tv partenere din Federația Rusă.

The Republic of Moldova needs to develop its institutional capacities to combat the phenomenon of fake news and involve scientific researchers more actively in the field of information security. These are some of the recommendations made by media experts during the round table on parliamentary oversight in the context of information security held in Chisinau on 23 February. The event was organised by the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF) jointly with the Information and Documentation Centre of NATO (IDC NATO) in Republic of Moldova.
