During the meeting held on November 28, the Press Council of the Republic of Moldova examined several journalistic reports and found a number of breaches of the Code of Conduct. Some cases were examined as a result of complaints filed by the persons concerned, and in other cases, the Council made the decision to examine such cases on its own initiative.

Victor Mosneag, Ziarul de Garda reporter, is the winner of the competition for the best investigative journalist in Southeast Europe organized by the SEEMO and the CEI. He was awarded on November 27 in Sofia, Bulgaria, according to Ziarul de Garda.
The contest is held every year and offers only 2 awards in two categories: Professional Investigative Journalist and Aspiring Investigative Reporter.
