“Media Azi” Broadcast, 50th edition: How fair is it for SCM members to point the finger at journalists?

The attitude of the Superior Council of Magistracy (SCM) towards journalist Mariana Rata, who was publicly reprimanded at a meeting of the SCM for an error in an investigation caused by limited access to documents on the web portal of courts, is the topic of the 50th edition of the “Media Azi” show.

The host of this edition, journalist Anastasia Nani, discussed the issue with her guests, SCM member Vera Toma and RISE Moldova journalist Ion Preasca.

Неправительственные медийные организации осуждают все более частые случаи ограничения государственными органами доступа прессы к событиям, представляющим интерес для общественности.
 
Так, в среду, 26 июля, фоторепортеру Константину Григорицэ запретили присутствовать на встрече президента Игоря Додона с представителями СМИ, организованной в президентской резиденции в Кондрице, хотя журналист выполнил все условия, требуемые Администрацией президента.

We condemn the discriminatory practices of restricting media representatives’ access to events of public interest

Media NGOs condemn the increasingly frequent restrictions imposed by State authorities on access of the press to events of public interest.
 
Thus, on Wednesday, July 26, photojournalist Constantin Grigorita was not allowed to attend President Igor Dodon’s meeting with media representatives, organized at the Presidential Villa in Condrita, although the journalist met all the requirements of the Presidential Administration.

Organizațiile neguvernamentale de media condamnă cazurile tot mai frecvente de impunere a unor restricții de către autoritățile statului în ceea ce privește accesul presei la evenimentele de interes public.
Astfel, miercuri, 26 iulie, fotoreporterului Constantin Grigoriță i-a fost interzisă participarea la întâlnirea Președintelui Igor Dodon cu reprezentanţii mass-media, organizată la vila prezidențială de la Condrița, deși jurnalistul a întrunit toate condițiile solicitate de Președinţie.
