The attitude of the Superior Council of Magistracy (SCM) towards journalist Mariana Rata, who was publicly reprimanded at a meeting of the SCM for an error in an investigation caused by limited access to documents on the web portal of courts, is the topic of the 50th edition of the “Media Azi” show.

The host of this edition, journalist Anastasia Nani, discussed the issue with her guests, SCM member Vera Toma and RISE Moldova journalist Ion Preasca.

What was the point of such discussions in the SCM? What did the investigative journalists who participated in the SCM meeting think of the “lesson” that the members of this institution taught journalist Mariana Rata? Is it right for SCM members to point the finger at journalists?

See how SCM member Vera Toma explains this behavior of her colleagues and what the other guest of the show, Ion Preasca, thinks about the possible gaps and errors caused by limited access to documents on the web portal of courts.
