The Governor of Gagauzia promulgated the Law on Television and Radio previously challenged by the Civil Society

The Governor of Gagauzia, Irina Vlah, promulgated the Law on Television and Radio challenged by a number of non-governmental organisations which declared at a press conference held on 2nd of March 2016 that the document contravenes the legislation of the Republic of Moldova and claimed that the People’s Assembly revises and amends it. The information about the promulgation was confirmed by the employees of the People’s Assembly of Gagauzia.

Башкан Гагаузии Ирина Влах промульгировала Закон о телерадиовещании, который подвергся критике со стороны многих неправительственных организаций в области масс-медиа. На организованной 2 марта пресс-конференции представители медийных НПО заявили, что документ противоречит законодательству Республики Молдова, и потребовали вернуть закон на доработку в Народное собрание Гагаузии. Информация о промульгации закона была подтверждена представителями Народного собрания.

Sondajele arată că pentru aproape 97% dintre moldoveni televizorul este principala sursă de informare. Este, deci, principala pârghie de manipulare cu mințile oamenilor. Analizând tipul de conținut pe care televiziunile din Moldova îl diseminează, ajungi la concluzia că moldovenii trăiesc într-un deșert informațional. De vină sunt jurnaliștii. De fapt, mulți dintre angajații acestor televiziuni nu pot fi numiți jurnaliști. Poate, în cel mai bun caz, i-am putea numi „lucrători media”.

Opinion polls show that for nearly 97% of Moldovans television is the main source of information. It is, therefore, the main lever for manipulation of people’s minds. Analyzing the content disseminated by Moldovan televisions, you may reach the conclusion that Moldovans live in an information desert. Journalists are to blame. In fact, many of the employees of these televisions cannot be even called journalists. They might be called “media workers” at best.

Опросы общественного мнения показывают, что для почти 97% молдаван телевизор является основным источником информации. Следовательно, это основной рычаг манипулирования умами людей. Анализируя контент, распространяемый телеканалами Молдовы, можно сделать вывод, что молдаване живут в информационной пустыне. Виной тому – журналисты. По сути, многих сотрудников этих телеканалов нельзя считать журналистами. Может в лучшем случае их можно называть «работниками СМИ».

Socialist MP Adrian Lebedinschi announced that he had withdrawn his signature from draft law no. 39 on modifying and supplementing the Broadcasting Code of Moldova no. 260 of July 27, 2006, adopted by the Parliament in two readings on February 26, 2016. At the same time, as co-author of the draft law, he addressed a message to Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu, asking him “to stop, until the deadline provided by law, the signing of the Law,” and sent a letter to Jose Luis Herrero, head of the Council of Europe Office in Moldova, pleading for “the draft law no.

Club de presă: „Femeile în politică – de ce batem pasul pe loc timp de 10 ani”

Mai persistă în secolul XXI problema discriminării gender? Ce piedici întâmpină femeile atunci când vor să se implice în politică sau aspiră la un post de conducere în structurile de stat? Statisticile arată că, în Republica Moldova, femeile continuă să fie tratate diferit decât bărbații. Deși majoritatea respondenților se declară neutri în privința genului candidaților la funcția de deputați (73% femei și 57% bărbați),  numărul celor care ar opta pentru bărbați în Parlament este mai mare (26,5% din respondenți ar opta pentru bărbați și doar 5,6% pentru femei).

Conclusions of students from Carpineni: “If you are informed, you are protected!”

It was the topic of discussion with students from the “Stefan Holban” lyceum in Carpineni village of Hancesti district at a media literacy lesson organized by the Independent Journalism Center (IJC) on Tuesday, March 23. Inițiativa CJI privind introducerea educației mediatice în școli

Centrul pentru Jurnalism Independent (CJI) vine cu noi acțiuni de promovare a educației mediatice pentru consumatorii de media și, în special, pentru elevi.

Astfel, CJI va lansa o campanie de advocacy pentru a promova educația mediatică în școli. În acest sens, va fi realizat un studiu care va identifica oportunitățile de a introduce în curricula școlară disciplina de educație mediatică. Inițiativa CJI va fi analizată în cadrul unui atelier de lucru de către reprezentanți ai învățământului preuniversitar și ai Ministerului Educației.
