Organizațiile neguvernamentale din domeniul mass-media își exprimă îngrijorarea în legătură cu intensificarea controlului politic asupra conţinutului editorial al instituţiilor mass-media autohtone şi semnalează ineficienţa activităţii Consiliului Coordonator al Audiovizualului (CCA) pentru asigurarea respectării principiului echilibrului şi pluralismului politico-social, obligatoriu pentru toţi radiodifuzorii din Republica Moldova, inclusiv pentru cei care retransmit posturi de televiziune şi radio din străinătate.
Non-governmental organization working in the field of mass media are concerned with the intensification of political control over the editorial content of local media outlets and are communicating about the inefficiency of the Broadcasting Coordinating Council (BCC) in ensuring compliance with the principle of socio-political balance and pluralism, which is mandatory for all broadcasters in Moldova, including those who rebroadcast foreign televisions and radios.

A group of journalists and beneficiaries of the “Combating hate speech in online media and social networks” project met on November 28 at an informal event to discuss about the results of the “The media doesn’t hate!” campaign and about project activities.
“The media doesn’t hate!” campaign conducted by the Independent Journalism Center (IJC), continues with the launch of a video. It aims at building the awareness of mass media about the importance of professional and responsible coverage of sensitive topics in journalistic materials.
The IJC presents the second video of “The media doesn’t hate!” campaign. The video material refers to the manner in which the media write about disadvantaged persons, minorities, and how such messages are perceived by society.
The material refers to both media consumers and journalists, who are responsible for the opinions and attitudes that the public has when reading, listening or watching their media products.
