Primul hackathon de jurnalism civic din Moldova, Puterea a Cincea

Pe 17 iulie, la ora 18.00 va demara primul hackathon de jurnalism civic din Moldova, Puterea a Cincea, organizat de Centrul pentru Jurnalism Independent și Internews. Evenimentul va dura până duminică, 19 iulie, ora 21:00 și se va desfășura la spațiul de co-working Generator Hub.

 

Hackathonul Puterea a Cincea își propune să îmbunătățească interacțiunea dintre presă și public cu ajutorul unor aplicații web sau mobile precum și alte instrumente IT inovatoare.

GRT și-a recăpătat licența de emisie pentru următoarea perioadă de şapte ani

Membrii Consiliului Coordonator al Audiovizualului (CCA) au acordat joi, 16 iulie, prin concurs, licență de emisie Companiei Publice „Gagauziya Radio Televizionu” (GRT) pentru „TV-Găgăuzia”. Frecvențele deținute de acest radiodifuzor au devenit disponibile și au fost scoase în concurs după ce, pe 7 mai 2015, expirase termenul de prelungire a licenței de emisie, iar conducerea Companiei nu prezentase documentele necesare.

Media NGOs condemn the attempts to intimidate Jurnal TV’s team at the Orhei mayor’s office building

Media NGOs are expressing their concern about the incident that occurred on Wednesday, 15 July, at the Orhei mayor’s office building. According to Jurnal TV channel, its team, which went to Orhei mayor’s office for information about the repairs that are taking place there, was assaulted, threatened and forced to leave the building. A person that refused to present himself assaulted the cameraman, hit the camera and ordered the institution’s guard to force the journalists out.

ONG-urile de media condamnă încercările de intimidare a echipei Jurnal TV în incinta Primăriei oraşului Orhei

Organizaţiile neguvernamentale de media îşi exprimă îngrijorarea faţă de incidentul produs miercuri, 15 iulie, în incinta Primăriei oraşului Orhei. Potrivit postului Jurnal TV, echipa sa, aflată în interes de serviciu la Primăria Orhei - pentru a obţine informaţii despre lucrările de reparaţie desfăşurate aici - a fost bruscată, ameninţată şi forţată să părăsească sediul.  O persoană, care a refuzat să se prezinte,  l-a agresat pe operator, a lovit camera video şi a dat indicaţii agentului de pază al instituției să-i dea afară pe jurnalişti.

«Телерадио Гагаузии» получила новую лицензию на семь лет

Члены Координационного совета по телевидению и радиовещанию (КСТР) предоставили на конкурсной основе в четверг, 16 июля,  лицензию на вещание общественной компании «Телерадио Гагаузии» для «ТВ Гагаузия». Частоты, на которых вещала эта компания, были выставлены на конкурс после того, как 7 мая 2015 года истек срок действия лицензии «Телерадио Гагаузии», а руководство компании не представила документы для продления лицензии.

НПО в области масс-медиа осуждают попытки запугивания команды «Jurnal TV» в здании мэрии Оргеева

Неправительственные организации в области масс-медиа выражают свое возмущение в связи с инцидентом, который произошел в среду, 15 июля, в здании мэрии Оргеева. По сообщению «Jurnal TV», съемочная группа телеканала подверглась нападкам и угрозам во время служебной поездки в мэрию Оргеева. Человек из здания мэрии, который отказался представиться, применил физическую силу против оператора, ударил видеокамеру и указал охраннику учреждения выгнать журналистов из здания мэрии.

GRT obtained a broadcasting license for the following seven years

On Thursday, 16 July, following a contest, the Broadcasting Coordinating Council (BCC) issued a broadcasting license to the public company “Gagauziya Radio Televizionu” (GRT) for the TV-Gagauzia channel. The frequencies held by this broadcaster became available and put forward for contest after the deadline for extension of the broadcasting license expired on 7 May 2015 and the company’s management did not submit the necessary documents.

IJC launches the “Press can’t hate!” campaign

Tolerance and responsibility in media are two key elements of the “Press can’t hate!” campaign launched by the Independent Journalism Center in the month of July.

Through this campaign IJC will encourage journalists to commit high-quality journalism, to cover in a fair and objective manner socially vulnerable people and minorities topics, without promoting stereotypes or instigating hate. Also, media consumers will be encouraged to be tolerant and have respect to diversity in all its forms, especially when they express their opinions in social networks and websites.
