Journalists care what they write about

“A journalist is always in the field,” says 94-year-old pensioner Cozma Cotruţă in this new IJC video message to Moldovan media from the public expressing trust in the work that journalists do day by day. All the characters are ordinary people who do their work honestly and with devotion and who are convinced that journalists must be fair and responsible.

When they say, “Journalists care what they write about because they write for me,” consumers of mass media emphasize that news about people is not written to be sensational or shocking because news about people needs to be human.
