Description
The International Journalists’ College announces a call for participation in an internship program Journalists International 2016. The three-month program (July – September 2016) consists of a seminar program on history, politics, economy and culture, media and journalism in Germany, six-week internships in Berlin’s TV, radio, online or newspaper editors and a week-long trip through Germany.
Eligibility
Applications are open to students of Journalism and German with journalistic experience from Belarus, Moldova, Russia, Ukraine, the Caucasus and Central Asia. They must be in the first or second year of the master’s degree or the final year of graduate study (“diploma specialista”). The program is conducted in German, therefore very good knowledge of German is required.
Remuneration
The participants receive a stipend of € 750.00, a travel allowance and accommodation in a student residence in Berlin for a small co-payment. During the three months of their program participation, they also enjoy as a student at the International College of Journalism FU discounted uses of variety of cultural and other municipal facilities and public transport.
