Mogherini urged to do more on Russian propaganda

Eight member states have urged the EU's foreign service to significantly expand its work on countering Russian propaganda.

They said in a letter to EU foreign affairs chief Federica Mogherini that "in the face of unabated third party disinformation campaigns … we see an urgent need to further enhance the EU's StratCom capabilities".

The EU foreign service created East Stratcom, dealing with the former Soviet region, in late 2015.

TV Balti struggles to get cable broadcast license

The TV station Balti (BTV) currently operates under the law on the licensing of entrepreneurial activity, not on the basis of the broadcast license, as stipulated in the Broadcasting Code. The station’s administration requested in early September the issuance of the cable broadcast license, but the broadcasting regulator has not yet examined this request “because of the institution’s remodeling processes.”

Телеканал TV Bălți столкнулся с проблемами при получении лицензии на кабельное вещание

Телеканал TV Bălți (BTV) работает в настоящее время на основании закона о регулировании предпринимательской деятельности путем лицензирования, а не на основании лицензии на вещание, как это предусматривается Кодексом телевидения и радио. В начале сентября, администрация телеканала подала ходатайство о выдаче лицензии на кабельное вещание, однако регламентирующий орган в области радио и телевидения пока не рассмотрел это ходатайство «по причине процесса реорганизации учреждения».

Bulgarian News Agency BTA Opened a Representative Office in Taraclia

The life of Bulgarians in Moldova will be covered by the National News Agency of Bulgaria (BTA), which has recently opened a press center in the city of Taraclia. It is the second representative office outside Bulgaria (the first was opened in Serbia).
Irina Bogoeva is so far the only reporter and representative of the Bulgarian news agency BTA in Moldova. She told Media-azi.md that the press center will mainly focus on social and cultural events in the region.

Болгарское информационное агентство БТА открыло представительство в Тараклии

Национальное информационное агентство Болгарии (БТА), открывшее свое представительство в Тараклии, будет освещать жизнь болгар в Республике Молдова. Это второе представительство агентства, открытое за пределами Болгарии (первое было открыто в Сербии).

Ирина Богоева – на данный момент единственный корреспондент и представитель болгарского агентства БТА в Молдове. Она сообщила Media-azi.md, что в центре внимания пресс-центра будут в основном общественно-культурные события, происходящие в регионе.

Asociaţia Presei Independente (API) a semnalat miercuri, 18 octombrie, într-un comunicat de presă, apariția unui site-clonă fals www.stopfals.com care a preluat neautorizat logotipul şi disclaimerul campaniei STOP FALS! ce elucidează cazurile de manipulare a opiniei publice în presă. Site-ul clonă ar fi înregistrat pe un server în SUA și publică ştiri false şi informaţii distorsionate.
