Winners of Emerging Opportunities Grants Have Been Announced

The Independent Journalism Center announced the results of the Emerging Opportunities Grants contest, held under the “Media Enabling Democracy, Inclusion and Accountability in Moldova” (MEDIA-M) project.

Following the evaluation of applications according to selection criteria, the jury chose these winners:

NGO “Positive Initiative” (project: “Contributing to Social Inclusion, Accountability of Officials, and Drawing Public Attention to Violations of the Rights and Freedoms of Vulnerable Citizens”)

Центр независимой журналистики (ЦНЖ) и Комитет по свободе прессы (КСП) представляют Регламент определения победителей конкурса «Журналисты года», 23-й выпуск.
 
В этом году процедура определения победителей конкурса «Журналисты года» включает три этапа:
I. Мониторинг прессы 10-ю экспертами от гражданского общества и СМИ, которые предложат по каждой категории журналистские материалы на основании критериев, объявленных ЦНЖ.

În urma protestului, organizat de jurnaliști, avocați și societatea civilă, membrii Consiliului Superior al Magistraturii (CSM) au aprobat marți, 10 octombrie, proiectul alternativ propus de Curtea Supremă de Justiție (CSM) a Regulamentului de publicare a hotărârilor judecătorești, și nu proiectul Regulamentului elaborat de grupul de lucru al CSM, contestat de societatea civilă.

​Un grup de deputați din Adunarea Populară a autonomiei găgăuze vor să scoată GRT de sub influența politică

Patru deputați din Adunarea Populară a UTA Găgăuzia au elaborat un proiect de lege privind modul de activitate a Companiei Publice regionale pentru Radio și Televiziune (GRT). Autorii proiectului, deputații Ecaterina Jecova, Alexandr Tarnavski, Gheorghi Efteni și Nicolai Ormanji propun schimbarea modului de finanțare a GRT, astfel încât bugetul companiei să constituie 2,5% din veniturile proprii ale Găgăuziei. Alte prevederi se referă la managementul GRT.

A Group of Members of the People’s Assembly of Gagauzia Intends to Free GRT from Political Influence

Four members of the People’s Assembly of the Autonomous Territorial Unit (ATU) Gagauzia have prepared a draft law on the rules of procedure for the Regional Public Broadcasting Company GRT. The authors of the draft law – Ecaterina Jecova, Alexandr Tarnavski, Gheorghi Efteni and Nicolai Ormanji – proposed changing the funding of GRT, so the company’s budget be made of 2.5% of Gagauzia’s own income. Other provisions refer to GRT’s management. Media experts see this draft law as an attempt to free the regional public broadcaster from political influence.

Группа депутатов Народного собрания Гагаузской автономии намереваются вывести GRT из-под политического влияния

Четыре депутата Народного собрания АТО Гагаузия разработали законопроект о деятельности Региональной общественной вещательной компании GRT. Авторы проекта – депутаты Екатерина Жекова, Александр Тарнавский, Георгий Ефтени и Николай Орманжи – предлагают изменить порядок финансирования GRT, чтобы бюджет компании формировался из 2,5% собственных доходов Гагаузии. Другие положения касаются менеджмента GRT. Медиа-эксперты усматривают в этом проекте попытку вывести компанию из-под политического влияния.
