The Independent Journalism Center (IJC) has launched the moldova-azi.md multimedia platform, which contains all video materials produced so far by the Advocacy and Production Department of the IJC. Thus, users will be able to access and view from documentaries and spots to debate shows and tutorials “ABC-ul presei”.

The purpose of this platform is to facilitate the access of media consumers and journalists to the videos produced by the IJC over years and to those that will be produced in the future. The website is structured in 5 categories: Shows, Debates, Documentaries, Spots and About Us.

Shows – In this category you can access shows titled “Europa pentru tine” (“Europe for you”) and “Media Azi” (“Media Today”). The latter is produced by the Independent Journalism Center weekly and aims to bring to the forefront the main problems faced by local journalists in the present.

Debates – Here you can watch the meetings of the Press Club, launched by the IJC and the Press Freedom Committee in the autumn of 1995. At these informal meetings, journalists have the opportunity to speak with personalities from various fields about some of the current problems in society. Press Club meetings are monthly.

Documentaries – These complex videos produced by the IJC return to public attention the major problems of society. This section also contains video materials (fillers), in which several business people share their experience of launching business in Moldova.

Spots – This category gathers the spots produced by the IJC for various campaigns promoting draft laws, media education initiatives, etc., including the spots titled “Unity is force”, “We want access to the Parliament”, “Information poisoning is bad for your health” and “Don’t let them think we are stupid”.

Also, on the home page of moldova-azi.md you can find tutorials titled “ABC-ul presei” (The ABC of press). They are short videos representing a “specialized dictionary” with videos and articles that explain the principles on which the media is built and how the media works.

Video materials can be published without restrictions by the interested televisions or websites.
