“Media Azi” Show, 64th Edition: Bilingualism in Moldovan Media: Journalistic Differences and Similarities

Bilingualism in Moldovan media was the topic of the 64^th edition of the “Media Azi” [Media Today] show. Journalist Ivan Sveatcenko, host of this edition, analyzed this subject, discussing the specifics of the Romanian and Russian speaking public with his guest, journalist Alina Radu.

Alina Radu, director of Ziarul de Gardă newspaper, explained why and when she decided to translate investigations into Russian. She spoke about the challenges the editorial staff had to face, as well as about the differences that exist between Romanian and Russian speakers.
