An outrageous case has happened in Rezina a week ago. The police seized the circulation of ‘Cuvantul’ regional newspaper. How could this happen in terms of allegedly democratic governance, which pretends to aim for European integration? This topic is discussed during the 77th edition of Media Azi talk show by the host – journalist Nicolae Negru, and his guest – the head of the newspaper, Tudor Iascenco.

Find out the pretext and the true reasons of this abusive action. You will learn who and why was trying to keep the newspaper from reaching its readers on time and the outcome of this scandalous case. Alongside, the show will talk about the conditions the regional press has to work in, how it manages to stay the course, and why the state is not supporting it.
