Election candidates who were supported by TV stations got the best results in previous municipal elections. The same picture is noticed for the next election campaign for Parliamentary Elections: PD, PSRM, PPDS, Sor Party are supported by private TV stations and rely on massive political advertising through them.
How do we provide the other candidates equal access to media? What influence does Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) have in this respect? Is it possible to win the election competition without a TV station or a bag of money? The topic is discussed in the talk show Media Azi by the journalist Nicolae Negru and his guest, Dargos Vicol, the BCC chairman.
Can we speak about free and fair elections if parties don’t have equal access to media? What is the role of the pecuniary element in election campaigns? How fair and balanced is a competition in which political stakeholders  outperform one another at spending financial resources to get the best possible result? These and other questions will be answered in Media Azi talk show.
