Media Azi: Broadcasting Will Governed by A New Law. What Changes Are Expected in the Area?

The Parliament adopted the Audiovisual Media Services Code, which was due to enter into force on 1 January 2019. How will the new law solve the serious problems faced by the broadcasting in the Republic of Moldova? This is the subject of the Media Azi show by journalist Nicolae Negru and his guest, the executive director of the Electronic Press Association, Ion Bunduchi.

The Broadcasting Code, which will be called the Audiovisual Media Services Code, comes with changes in other names – the Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) will become the Broadcasting Council (BC) and the Council of Observers (CO) of the public broadcaster –  the Supervisory Board (SB). Watch the talk show to find out what essential changes will occur in the work of these institutions, with the change of their name.
