In less than two years since its creation, ‘Recorder’ platform has become one of the most successful media projects in Romania. The journalists intended to make ‘Recorder’ the most important video journalism platform. In time, it became known in the Republic of Moldova as well. The team stubbornly believes they can do their jobs without any patrons and hidden agenda, managing to cover their expenses using money from advertising and readers’ donations.

According to its last activity report, ‘Recorder’ raised over 56,000 euros from its readers in only six months. What explains the success of the ‘Recorder’ journalists, and what can their Moldovan colleagues learn from it? This topic was tackled during a new edition of Media Azi show, featuring Cristian Delcea – one of the journalists who founded ‘Recorder’.
