Journalists and Students Encouraged to Join Media Workshop in Ukraine

The portal journalism.ucu.edu.ua announces that young journalists, media experts and students from Moldova and other European countries are called to participate in a workshop of media projects, which will take place on 21–22 March in Lviv, Ukraine. The organizers of the first Student Media Symposium for students and young journalists are specifying that the applicants whose projects will come to be selected for the symposium as a result of participation in a contest will be promoted on certain partner media platforms.

The topics proposed by organizers for media projects are diverse. Participants may produce written materials, infographics, video, audio, or a combination of them, on issues related to aggression and violence in the information space and ways to solve them, control of legal violations in advertizing, analysis of local press, journalistic blogs, social media, and many more.

The deadline for submission of projects in 1 March 2014. Applicants must also send a CV to mediacomATucuDOTeduDOTua. The results of the contest will be announced on 7 March 2014.
