Today, Audiovisual Media Services Code was again sent to President Dodon. Speaker Adrian Candu announced this on his Facebook page.

‘I signed and sent Audiovisual Media Service Code and supplement of the Labour Code with norms providing celebration of Europe Day on 9 May, along with Victory Day, for promulgation. I hope that President Igor Dodon will respect the Constitution and will promulgate the laws on which the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova maintained its vote’, wrote Candu on Facebook.

Note that on 8 November the Parliament reconsidered and supported the draft Audiovisual Media Services Code, previously relegated by the head of the state.
According to the law, the President of the country can only once ask the Parliament to reconsider the law. If MPs keep the previously adopted decision, President is obliged to promulgate the law within 2 weeks at most from the date of the law’ registration in the presidential Administration.
