IFEX Published the Statement of the Moldovan Media NGOs Condemning the Aggression Against the Journalists

On Thursday, 13 June, the international association IFEX (International Freedom of Expression Exchange) published the statement of Moldovan media NGOs condemning the assaults and intimidation against journalists during the protests organised at Chisinau by the Democratic Party of Moldova on 7-9 June 2019.

IFEX includes 119 NGOs around the world, which are concerned with the protection of freedom of expression.
Note that on Wednesday, 12 June, Harlem Désir, the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media came up with a Public Call for the Moldovan authorities and urged them to ensure safe working conditions for journalists.
