Participants of the 42nd edition of the “Media Azi” show – journalist Nicolae Negru as the host and his guest, doctor of political sciences Aurelia Peru-Balan – discuss to what extent the BCC decision may reduce concentration in the media, given that Canal 2 and Canal 3, the two channels the chairman of the Democratic Party gave up, became property of a company headed by his image adviser, journalist Oleg Cristal.
Another topic of the 42nd edition refers to the recent resignations at the BCC. Learn why the guest of the show believes that the resignation of the BCC chairman and deputy chairman occurred in “Molière style.” Also, find out what participants of the show think about how the BCC performs its functions, specifically, the duty of ensuring political and social balance in the media or preventing monopolies and concentration of ownership in broadcasting.
