“Split in Two”, a New Series of Shows Produced by the IJC

The Independent Journalism Center (IJC) launches a series of shows under the general title of “Split in Two”. Through these shows, the IJC aims to bring gender issues to the attention of the public and to present positive models of involvement of women and men in different spheres of life.

The first show "Gender Prejudices and Stereotypes in the Republic of Moldova" discusses gender stereotypes: what they are and how to overcome them, what experts recommend and how gender equality is perceived by men and women.

During the campaign, 20 shows will be produced and posted on moldova-azi.md. The shows will be also broadcast by some TV channels.

The shows are produced within the "Media for Gender Balance!" campaign implemented by the Independent Journalism Center with the financial support of the Swedish International Development and Cooperation Agency through the Embassy of Sweden in Chisinau.
