IJC presents the 5th edition of Media Freedom Index

Independent Journalism Center (IJC) is pleased to announce the presentation of the fifth issue of the Media Freedom Index and would like to invite representatives of the media to the press conference on this occasion.

This is the fifth Media Freedom Index from a series of studies carried out quarterly by IJC within the frameworks of the project “ENP East Media Freedom Watch” and it records the changes in the state of press freedom during April - June 2014.

“ENP East Media Freedom Watch” focuses on rating media freedom in Eastern Partnership countries (EaP) based on quarterly questionnaires filled in by ten experts in each of the six countries. The two year-long project is implemented with support from the European Union, between March 2013 – February 2015.

The press conference will be held on Tuesday 16 September 2014, at 11.00, conference room of “Info-Prim Neo” News Agency, Casa Presei, Puşkin 22, office 446.
