Media experts who monitored the implementation of the 2017–2019 National Action Plan of the EU-Moldova Association Agreement concluded that, when it comes to media, the paper mainly refers to the development of broadcasting and leaves the print media and online media unattended. Therefore, the Action Plan will be revised to take into account the development of the entire media system.

As the Association Agreement involves dialogue and cooperation with the European Union, the experts have proposed a number of measures that would bring local media closer to European standards. To what extent have their recommendations been considered when the National Action Plan was revised? And how can we fill the gaps detected during the monitoring? This topic is discussed during the 83rd edition of Media Azi talk show by the host – Nicolae Negru, journalist, and his guest – Aneta Gonta, media researcher and co-author of the monitoring report.
