Media Azi: How do We Ensure a Balance Between Public Interest and Journalist Security? The Heads of Eight Media Outlets Answered this Question

A number of reporters who covered the Democratic Party’s protest were embarrassed, hurt or verbally assaulted. The recent political events showed once more that the level of journalists’ security has regressed dramatically in Moldova. Though being assaulted and intimidated, the reporters continued to do their work.

All these situations made us wonder how do we ensure a balance between public interest and the security of journalists in the field?
With the help of a phone, the way many reporters worked during these protests, the directors and editors-in-chief of a number of media outlets answered this question.
