Ludmila Vasilache resigned from the position of SB chairperson

Ludmila Vasilache resigned from the position of chairperson of the Supervisory Board (SB) of the public broadcasting company “Teleradio-Moldova”, according to www.trm.md. The announcement was made at the start of the SB meeting on Friday, 10 July, and the reason Ms Vasilache claimed was her disappointment with the team she had been working with. Then, with the votes of five SB members out of the seven, Doina Deleu was elected as the new chairperson of the SB.

“It is my decision. Unfortunately, we are not a team at the SB, and I don’t want to represent people who are unable to assume the consequences of their own decisions. I can still represent myself as a member of the SB, my opinions and my votes, and comment on them. I believe we will keep going and working,” Ludmila Vasilache said to reason her decision.

In the middle of March 2015, Ludmila Vasilache was elected as chairperson of the Supervisory Board with the votes of 4 SB members out of the 7 present. She is a journalist, former member of the Broadcasting Coordinating Council and former employee of “Teleradio-Moldova”.
