Moldova 1 Employing the Director of the News and Debates Department

After the Supreme Court ordered the president of the Teleradio-Moldova company to cancel the appointment of Vitalie Gutu to the position of director of the News and Debates Department, the public broadcaster published an announcement to fill this position.

The persons intending to participate in the contest are expected to have at least 5 years of experience in journalism, including 3 years of experience in broadcasting and in editing news (at least two years).

The director of the News and Debates Department of Moldova 1 is responsible for conceptualizing newscasts and debates programs, for determining the character of newscasts, and for establishing current editorial priorities in newscasts and debates programs. The candidates’ files can be submitted up to 5 March 2014 at 17.00 to the Human Resources Service of the television company (no. 1, Miorita Street, 5th floor, Radio House, Chisinau municipality).

Six candidates competed for the position of director of the News and Debates Department of Moldova 1, including journalist Cornelia Stefoglu.
