Independent Journalism Center is looking for one international expert and one local expert to conduct a two-day open-group training in data visualization.
The training will be targeted at media professionals working in the TV, online and multimedia environment and will aim at enhancing their knowledge and skills in depicting data in an innovative, yet accessible way, thus helping them improve their audience engagement.
Experts are expected to share their knowledge, capitalizing on their own experience and answering questions so as to help participants understand the tools and abilities needed for journalists to use and showcase data in order to produce better-quality journalistic materials.
The lesson plan shall be prepared by trainers, and the lesson shall comprise theoretical and practical content, including individual and group exercises involving direct engagement of participants. In addition, participants should be able to ask questions and share their thoughts, and trainers should provide answers to the questions they find most helpful to all users.
To ensure quality management, trainers will develop pre- and post-training questionnaires, as well as a final report to evaluate training results.
