BC Looking for Candidates to Fill Three Member Vacancies at the ‘Teleradio-Moldova’ Supervisory Board

The Broadcasting Council announced a call for filling the vacant member positions at the Supervisory Board (SB) of the ‘Teleradio-Moldova’ national media service provider (formerly the Council of Observers) at a public hearing on 28 January. The call will result in selecting three members of the SB for a 6-year term.

Candidates must be citizens of the Republic of Moldova, have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, have at least 5 years of experience in journalism, law, public relations, international relations, culture, cinema, financial management and commercial enterprise management, information and communication technologies, academic activity, media, and engineering. Another requirement: they must not have held the position of the Council of Observers (Supervisory Board) member and the Broadcasting Coordinating Council (Broadcasting Council) member in the last 6 years.

Applications submission period: 1 February 2019 through 4 March 2019. The call to fill three vacancies provides that the candidates will be preselected on the basis of the submitted applications and interviews held within a BC public hearing.
