Galina Butenco, a journalist from the local weekly newspaper Glia Drochiana, says that she was asked to leave a meeting of the representatives of local authorities and the President of Parliament Igor Corman, held on 20 September.
According to an article published in the Friday issue, a woman asked Butenco to leave the room of the meeting. “A woman, who didn’t introduce herself, asked me whether I was a journalist. I said I was. Then she asked me to leave the room. But I only took some pictures and made some notes,” Galina Butenco said for Media Azi. The journalist left, but she claims that the event should have been public, and the media should have been allowed access.
The representatives of the Moldovan Parliament said for Media Azi that the person responsible for the meeting in Drochia town was the head of the Communication and Public Relations Department Svetlana Ursu, and she would be available for questioning  about the case no sooner than on Tuesday.
